We have been making Aluminium Plantation Shutters for over 4 years at our factory in Cardiff and they have rapidly become our best selling product. We believe our customers love this product is because it is so hard wearing, low maintenance and looks great. Made from high tensile T6 Aluminium an extremely durable material, Classic Aluminium Shutters are suitable to use either inside or outside. The walls of our extrusions are 50% thicker than we have seen from any other shutter extrusion. Stainless steel is used for all our fixings and stainless hinges are available as an option.
Interior Use
We have found that Aluminium Shutters are great for families, tenanted or commercial properties, and households with pets.
This durable, hard wearing material can handle constant contact with water and is not susceptible to warping and bowing, use with confidence in bathrooms and other wet areas. You can accidentally leave a window open with no concern of damage to your shutters.
The powder coat paint finish offers the longest lasting paint finish of all plantation shutters and is available in any colour from the Dulux powder coat paint range. A very low maintenance window covering, with cleaning as easy as a wipe over with a damp cloth.
These shutters offer fantastic insulation from the heat or cold. Made from extruded lengths of aluminium, the framework and blades contain an air pocket; this pocket provides great protection from temperatures at either end of the scale.
Exterior Use
Most commonly used on balconies, decks and entertainment areas, to provide protection from the weather, privacy, airflow and light control. We will often colour match to the existing Color Bond trim, the shutter panels then become a seamless part of the architecture. The moving louvres offer the flexibility of providing an enclosed and protected, yet out door space.
We have also made panels to hide air conditioning units, created exterior cupboard doors and side gates.
Options
A complete range of fitting options are available, hinged, sliding, bi-fold and fixed. For 2 door sliding panels we have developed a tracking system that eliminates, in most cases, the need for floor track.
Security
Fitted with triple locks, these shutters provide security without compromising on aesthetics. Effective for either internal or external security.
